there was a brief one in northwestern pennsylvania as well but it really falls apart as it gets out from under its upper level support and overnight we see most of that rain just fall off the map. 70 degrees by 8 o'clock this morning. still a little bit muggy and by 11:00, 82 probably still a little bit muggy but by 2 o'clock, 87 degrees with the humidity falling and then your high today is a very warm 88. the other thing about today it's going to be very bandy as we roll through particularly the afternoon with gusts as high as 30 miles per hour. so, clouds and sun everywhere, less humid during the afternoon, windy conditions today and you can see that from allentown all the way past philadelphia we're going to be in the 80's. toms river at 87. millville 85. right down along the shore mid to upper 70's. a very nice day on the beach in case you have the day off and you feel like hanging out down there. the ocean water still a little cool but air temperatures are looking g now future tracker showing you that the dewpoints on and off this morning are still going to be in the mid to low 60's

one day i got a call from my parents, my mother specifically, and they own 100 acres up in northwestern pennsylvania, a place to get away for the weekend. she said to me we got this strange call from chesapeake and they want to inquire about our land. at the time, there was drilling going on in the pittsburgh area but this was hundreds of miles away clearly -- clear across pennsylvania. and so really i had to go back and start learning about why chesapeake was leasing all the way so far across pennsylvania and i did and that really got me onto the second stage of learning about fracking and what was going on and it really brought me into these questions of, should we be doing this? because that's really the question my mother asked me. should we sign a lease? should we allow this company to drill on this property that we own? and how can you get the benefits of all of this oil and gas in the country in the united states and minimize the risk and inscreens and the downsides to it. those are very important questions and i will pause and say i don't think those questions have been answered in the unite
