but still 90 in kingston and poughkeepsie, a couple of storms headed your way, 91 in yonkers, 85 in norwalk. our long island numbers are in the low and middle 80s, 92 in west orange, parts of new jersey have had a heatwave now for seven days. 90 all weekend long and back to last week. now, the dew points are generally in the upper 50s, some low to mid-60s, even 72 in montauk, we are going to get into this sticky to uncomfortable range tonight and then start to settle back during the day tomorrow. so it's not a long-term oppressive situation. we have these spotty storms mainly north and west overnight tonight, clouds will break for sunshine, it's a partly to mostly sunny day and a spot storm in the afternoon hours. we will give you the locations for those in a moment. so there's that cell racing along into southern ulster that caused a severe thunderstorm warning, a few more cells weakening over southern sullivan county so that's the strongest one right here and moving off to the northeast so ellenville, bragsmoore, walker valley affected by our brief heavy downpour, does not last very long.
