this is highly controversial here in norway. there's been constant lawsuits. protests in the streets, but the bottom line is that oil does totally fuel the economy and quite literally, and even though the greens party and the socialist left and some of many of the other environmentally oriented parties are in favor of halting, they want to set a deadline for stopping production, it's more than likely not going to happen because labor, the center party on the left and the conservative on the right. if they should try to bail out of this election, it's not going their way. it doesn't really matter, and oil will continue. i suppose the point though is that the green party, i mean, they might still end up being king makers at any, at any point, at any rate, they have seen their membership go considerably higher. so is there any idea of what the economic impact would be on norway, if the green's at some point did get their way and fossil fuel production ended? well, there's a lot of talk mostly talk the last few years of moving into
