the storm is headed toward nova scotia.ll get a little bit closer later on tonight to cape cod and bring a little bit of a threat there. north of the storm, a cold front has been lying over new england. it's been humid air. we've had a lot of huge thunderstorms over the last couple of day now the heavy rain is moving in. we are downpours in connecticut, rhode island, boston here shortly. new york city, so far, annoyed -- avoided it. i mentioned cape cod area. you can see the yellow path. that's a cone of uncertainty. it's a pretty narrow path. we know where the storm is going it will be close enough to bring strong winds and heavy rain. if i had any concern at all twhb is brand new information i got in. as far as rainfall estimates with this path, i mean, we could se see 3 or 4 inches of rain. the ground is already saturated. localized flooding is a possibility. then we can't forget about our friends in bar harbor down east maine. you have the potential to get on the north side of the storm and maybe a half a foot of rain.
