an investigation is underway after the president of the novato unified school board used a racial slur during a discussion with district administrators. according to the school district ross miller accused the n word on april 27th in a tele conference being held regarding the hiring of athletics directors. no. rick allegedly used the slur to describe what happened during a 1998 incident in which students shouted the slur at a center in high basketball game after the meeting, one administrator personally called miller act to address the issue and reportedly apologized. the report was released earlier this week by the marine county office of education, which is overseeing the district's operations. it's unclear at this time. if no rick will step down from his position. the investigation is ongoing. and the north bay now pious union high school district in marin county decided to rename one of their high schools after a man who served the country. >> and the community. as you can see, this building, it will be officially called archie williams high school in the next school year. williams
