even less than that in novato. so the north bay has been waking up with that dense fog, but we're also seeing fog into parts of livermore, down through san jose you can see there, down to about five miles and even less than that, morgan hill, gilroy area, down to a quarter of a mile. so that fog and visibility factor is going to linger for the first half of your morning. as far as temperatures go, 30s in some spots. look at this, 39 in novato, 39 in fairfield. we're pretty mild in the south bay right now and around the coastline in the 40s compared to areas up to the north bay. but i love comparing how we're doing compared to the rest of the nation so let's take a look. san jose right now is 50 degrees. meanwhile in new york city, 34. but if you look at green bay where our 49ers will be playing, it's 17 degrees right now so i really hope our niners are getting prepped for the chilly temperatures that they're going to encounter heading into saturday. i'll have a closer look at that forecast coming up in a few minute

look at this, novato 39, fairfield 37. and it is going to bump up a little bit into the afternoon, but i do want to show you some more fog and visibility. down to a quarter of a mile. look at livermore in through parts of morgan hill and the south bay. forecasted highs for today, once we get some of this fog to clear out, it will be slightly warmer into the afternoon. here's a look at your daytime highs, 63 for san jose, 57 in oakland, 61 in napa. san francisco 56 and concord 64. now, as far as your air quality outlook, we're remaining within that moderate air quality range, but might even get unhealthy for sensitive groups at times for parts of the east bay. because of this high pressure we don't have anything that's mixes out any of the gunk in the air so we'll keep a close eye on that because high pressure is going to dominate not just today but the next several days. take a look at your seven-day forecast. we notice a bump in those temps heading into friday and saturday. into the 60s for san francisco and upper 60s for

take a look at the novato. down to zero visibility.be careful driving through that stretch once again, and as you are heading out the door in novato this morning. we go from foggy conditions to a high wind warning for parts of the north bay. wind advisories for all of the areas shaded in orange. red indicates where we have a higher concern this morning. as we see the winds picking up, we see the gusts reaching up to 70 miles per hour, and this is for the upper elevations as you go up in the hills and mountains, and that's where the wind gusts to be higher and bring down trees and bring us impacts to the power tonight, especially as the winds increase. we expect winds to become gusty at 3:00 to 4:00. later tonight we could reach the peak as we go towards 6:00 to 8:00 tonight, increasing around midnight, but then starting to calm down, the rest of the day tomorrow is looking better. we are still looking at cooler temperatures after hitting mid-60s. dry conditions continue in the forecast. still no rain headed our way. gusty winds pick up

down to a quarter of a mile for santa rosa and novato and napa. it's very focused through the north bay. the rest of the bay area is doing okay when it comes to the fog. forecasted highs for today, we are going to get afternoon sun. it's not going to be as cloudy as it was in some spots yesterday, and our daytime highs are going to be a little cooler up to the north bay, but very similar down through the south bay. 62 degrees in san jose, 60 degrees in concord. 58 degrees in oakland, 57 in san francisco, and 59 degrees in napa. your air quality outlook, we're going to remain moderate for the most part. i did see a bump in the north bay to 82. this stays within the frame of moderate between 51 and 100 for the air quality index. we should be okay there as well as the long range outlook, that dry pattern still continues, but heading into tonight and into tomorrow, we are expecting to see some of that wind start to kick up, especially for the higher elevation areas in the mountains. so by sunday, that high pressure continues to dominate. it rolls back
