there was not much in terms of novato and petaluma but 2/10 of an inch in santa rosa. is there any more insight? not a whole lot. we do have some changes to our temperature pattern over the next several days. you see the roller coaster ride that we are in for as we look at the 10 day outlook for livermore with a couple days of near average temperatures and again on thursday. sharp drop for friday and saturday sitting on the side of normal for sunday, then we rise to the middle of next week. the drop in temperatures is accompanied by an outside chance of a couple of sprinkles or a passing shower. the chance of anything more than a trace is only in the 10 to 20% chance. probably the best chances right along the coast and maybe for the north bay, but even there i think you will see just passing clouds overhead and seeing cloud cover at ground level, the fog reforming along the coast as we look out to the west. temperatures drop into the 60s for most locations. we are going to see the marine layer re-establish itself, but the fog will not be all that widespread as we head

the northbay cooling off at a greater rate . 61 in napa but upper 50s in novato and down to the mid-50s already in petaluma and santa rosa were temperatures are more likely to dip to the low 50s. let's look at the low temperature forecast map, we will start off close to what is normal. that means 50s across the board. we started in the 60s because of the clouds. tomorrow morning back to typically cool temperatures. later, if you are headed out to the giants game, trying to keep hopes alive. gametime temperature should be in the mid-60s and gradually cooling down. we will try to keep hope alive for at least a couple more games. let's look at the forecast. starting with the northbay where temperatures will be close to what is typical. everybody on either side of 80. pleasantly warm and pleasantly mild. near 70 in san francisco with mid-70s in oakland. temperatures could be warmer down the peninsula in redwood city and cooler along the coast. 67 at half moon bay isn't bad at all. plenty of sunshine breaking through. in the valley, temperatures will be warm. mostly low 80s. temperatures inl

north bay temperatures hitting about 77 in santa rosa, novato, and 82 in ukiah.we go through the forecast, looking ahead, daily showers and thunderstorms firing up for the sierra, from today through thursday. but the good thing is that just in time for the weekend, and a lot of people from the bay area are heading there, it's going to be drying out. then we'll turn our attention to the potential of our first big rainmaker for the season next tuesday into wednesday. there could be scattered showers coming in, definitely looks like it's going to be wet for the pacific northwest. but also some rain chances for the bay area. that's towards the middle of next week, not this week. but we are looking at the possibility that some of our models are putting down some decent amounts of rainfall, anywhere from three-quarters of an inch of rain, to an inch of rain, for parts of the north bay. especially in the hills we could see higher rainfall totals. once again, that's beyond the seven-day forecast, so things could change between now and then. but in the meantime, it's nice
