fire is burning out of ntrol south of the nevada state capitol. that fire started yesterday morning in a rugged area for miles from the state capital building in carson city. you can see the map. emergency crews are evacuating nearby neighoods. they are fighting strong wind and battling the flames. hopefully the wind will calm down so they can bring in aircraft. so far, no injuries are reporte >>> fire officials in southern california letting people go back home after a fire forced evacuations in a cavern near beverly hills. these are multi-million-dollar homes -- homes in the santa monica mountains. there is not much wind so it is not growing fast. it has burned 35 acres but no homes are in danger right now. investigators say the fire was started by a weed wacker. >>> there are two serious wildfires in colorado burning. the biggest is near durango. the newest fire is burning near the keystone ski resort, 60 miles west of denver. that first fire has burned within 200 yards of homes in silverthorne. 1300 people have been forced out of their homes.
