right now in new york city, the nypd is mourning the death of one of its own. investigators are trying to figure out why a man walked up to a police r.v. command center and shot an officer in the head. sam sweeney has the latest on this heartbreaking story. sam: adrianna, this officer was a 12-year veteran of the force. she was about to wrap up her shirt in the bronx doing last-minute paperwork when this 34-year-old convicted felon walked up to that police vehicle and fired shots right through the window, hitting her in the head.
