if it wants to become the stock exchange wiping out the others like the nyse and others it can. after that, i don't know what google could don't if they set their niepds to it. most restaurants struggled to show positive comps. many of the same store sales went over year over year. and i think we'll cheer for buffalo wild wings tonight and then chipotle reported 9.3% comparable sales growth. i thought it was a typo. 1.9%, something inverted? accelerating same store sales growth. particularly october, november, december, going up like that. not only that, chipotle got there largely thanks to more people coming to the stores. this is at a time when its own real marketing is the farm and dangerous youtube programming featuring buck marshall. chipotle is riding the health conscious consumer wave that i write about in get rich and i'm convinced it can charge much want while only losing a handful of customers. needless to say, chipotle obliterated the shorts. but not as much as they were obliterated by the amazing numbers with egot this morning -- we got from michael kors. it jumped u

let's head back to nicole petallides on the floor of the nyse.rs look good but boy the after trade is not good. >> that is absolutely right. what is interesting when the numbers first came out and the stock soared. it moved above 70 bucks. people were excited on wall street only to see it tumbling down over 10%. so what is the problem? earnings per share came in better than expected at two cents versus the estimate for a loss of two cents. then you had revenue which came in and beat the street, 243 million, versus 218.15 million. here is the problem. there are two things i'm seeing here so far. the first what they are giving for the outlook for the full year 2014 revenue. 1.15 to 1.20, right, so that million, versus the midpoint of 1.17. so that could be part of it. just barely above the midpoint. maybe people were hoping for greater top-line growth. the other thing is the amount of monthly users. so i'm seeing the monthly users were 241 million monthly users for twitter. the question is whether or not that is -- david: nicole, stay with us becau

bob pisani is at the nyse. what are people say down on the floor? >> they are trying to figure out how much weather is part of this whole mix affecting the overall stock market. what is clear is when the ism number came out at 10:00, the market moved decisively down although we were moving down prior to that. there's the ism number coming out at 10:00. again, we were weak before that. we have just been drifting lower. essentially we are just off the lows today. let's not quibble. we are essentially at the lows. weather was blamed by many for the weak number and ford also talked about weak weather for their disappointing sales in the month of january. here's an unusual thing. the major indices all to the down side. we are getting noticeable weakness in small and midcap stocks here, down 3.5 to 3.25. at one point the s&p 500 was half the decline of the midcaps. that's a little unusual. this is a higher beta but would suggest we are getting a lot of selling in the midcap area, including things like airline. here's an example. everybody loves the airlin
