fox 29's chris o'connell is live from delran township where people have come out for a fundraiser, chris and your heart has to go out to this family. >> reporter: yes, it does, joyce. the here it sound like a party behind me but it is a bitter sweet day. this event was planned a couple months ago to help the single mother from delran, help with her medical expenses, and around her breast cancer diagnosis, well, tonight, that money is now going to help raise her two children and she died last night at the age of 79 years old. she was supposed to be here at this event tonight, she was in remission after a bless cancer diagnosis five years ago. then about a month ago it had come back very aggressively. she passed away a day before this benefit here in delran where she was supposed to be and in attendance. despite the somber news the entire community turning their sudden sadness into energy to help their 15 year-old daughters. >> i don't know how, why this happened there is no explanation. it came on very, very suddenly. three weeks ago she was fine and yesterday she passed away. it is not f
