"eyewitness news" reporter matt o'donnell rivers is tracking the latest on this investigation. he's joining us live from rittenhouse square with more. matt. >> reporter: natasha, police detectives were on scene here along the 1900 block of spruce street for the majority of the day trying to figure out who this suspect is while telling the public to keep an eye out. the suspect remains at large tonight with police describing him as a 5-foot seven hispanic male wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans. police said he followed the victim home to her apartment on the 1900 block of spruce street around 12:30 saturday morning after she left a nearby bar. ah when she got home he came up behind her grabbed her neck and forced her to hope the door. once inside the victim was sexually assaulted. the suspect then left and the victim called police. neighbors who live nearby were surprised to hear the news. >> seems very safe, like that's why i'm surprised it happened here. you don't expect nothing like this to happen in rittenhouse. >> reporter: what went through your mind. >> like it's not
