janet mergia, and terry o'neill. thank you so much for joining me. with you, congresswoman. you were talking about this a couple weeks ago, about how our story is not enough told as part of the history of the movement and also, how are we making sure that we're part of the story that's being told now? >> that's true, we have to tell the story. that's the point. our young girls and women should know the story, because we're telling it. and i think the one really amazing thing about today's march, when you heard speaker after speaker, so many women representing so many different sectors who took to the podium and the microphone and they made their voices heard. >> you know, i also noticed a number of the men talked about women. reverend sharpton, for example, talked about, you know, being good to your woman and women as equal, in a way that i don't think we maybe heard in 1963. >> well, i think it's true. i think it shows is you how far we've progressed in terms of understanding things like violence against women. understanding the role that women play

you know, second half of last year, i'd say sandler o'neil was bullish on banks and financials. now, we're still bullish, but not maybe jumping up and down as much as we were. >> what about you, anton? you go to the big guys or the regions? >> i like the bar bell approach. i agree completely with jeff on the big guys. the small guys, i'm a stock picker, so looking for activity. looking for deals that add value. looking for smart companies that understand they're hitting the wall and will sell to a buyer whose stock price will go up on that deal announcement. >> there are legal challenges -- i'm just looking at your list here. bank of america, jpmorgan chase, you know, the feds are going after these guys at the same time. >> yeah. >> that doesn't affect your view of them? >> well, i mean, they are cheap for a reason. as they keep building capital, as the marks keep getting stronger, they become relatively cheap. the other thing that will happen here is if the regulators keep beating them up to death and the capital markets keep staying healthy, if they want to divert their busine

. >> joining us to talk about more on the shut down is a principal at sandler o'neil. good to see you. can today's trading systems be trusted, and is my money safe? >> well, i think, you know, today's systems are strong, but these little glitches are, you know, blips that we have and i think is going to bring more let's just say oversight from the regulators and great effort by the industry to reduce these problems that we're having. >> you know, for investors at home watching all of this going on and listening to our news, they just throw up their hands, many of them say you know, this keeps happening and that's why many are staying away from the stock market. is that just the way it's going to be, or is there a way to simplify the system so we can keep the individual investor in? >> i think the industry and regulators are going to take a hard look at it this time. i think this is a call to arms so to speak. the one thing i sort of highlight is at least with this one, it doesn't appear like there was a lot of damages or the monetary damages to people because everybody
