joining me now is terry o'neil, president of the national organization for women whose pac has endorsedok, you know this is something that has energized both sides. you don't see this very often but it's ticked off an awful lot of people. but from your perspective, because we haven't really seen over the years that this issue has resonated to the point where it necessarily moves the needle in the campaign. how do you use this? what are your planning to use trump's remarks to your advantage in this campaign? >> honestly, chris, i think that this has given us a real opportunity to have a national conversation about the fact that what donald trump was saying was actually accurate originally. he said if you criminalize abortion, then the women have to be punished. that's by definition. if abortion is a crime, then by definition, a woman seeking an abortion is engaging in criminal activity. anti-abortion activists have tried to cover that up. they have tried to promote a message of saying, oh, no, we don't want to criminalize women. the woman is a victim. but the reality is their policies in
