david, beto o'rourke, he started off with huge fanfare, huge fund-raising haul.l the talk is about beto o'rourke and his need to reboot his campaign. where does he stand right now as he's about to go into this town hall? >> yeah, as you just pointed out with that clip from "the view" kate, that talk isn't coming from some far away place. it's coming from beto o'rourke himself who is out there talking about the need to regroup here and try a different approach. you know, he clearly, and his team around him, are trying to have him be a little less free wheeling and a little more focused on policy prescriptions, a little more presidential, if you will, in how he presents himself. but there's no doubt he lost some steam from where he was as you said in that very anticipated entrance, but you know, we should also caution, there's a long time from now until the iowa caucuses. i think some 258 days to be exact. and to write him off or anyone off at this point would be a fool's errand. >> what is at stake for him then tonight? >> yeah, this is a big moment. because he's

take a look at these trends, as i was pointing out that o'rourke number.re key candidate trends. first off, it's pretty clear that lelizabeth warren's number are up. in march, she was only at 4%. in april and may, double digits. pete buttigieg, this is a number that should be concerning for him. he got up to double digits. then in may, back down to single digits, versus beto o'rourke, look at this. 12 to 5 to 2. that's why the town hall last night. >> we'll see if he gets a bounce out of the town hall last night. we pay you to look beyond. >> i'm going deep. >> one of the interesting things here is among those who are paying close attention to the race. >> so i think there's a lot of people who say joe biden is ahead only because of name recognition. here's what's interesting. look at this. among those who are paying a lot of attention to the race right now, joe biden actually gets his best number at 42% versus those who are paying little to no taeng to t attention to the race, he gets 23%. here's the person who really suffering among those who are paying
