a ride oa right of first refusah allows the first option of purchasing the building and if it goes up for sale among the private market allowing the community members a chance to own the building before it goes up to the private market. additional changes to the central soma plan should be implemented before its passage including the requirement of 50% affordable housing for any newmarket rate housing development with an a.m.i. range of 30 to 90% for new affordable units. this percentage of affordable housing is consistent with san francisco's housing balance policy passed in 2015. additionally, mandatory land dedication of sites for affordable housing for any new development that is one acre or larger should be a part of the plan before it is implemented. the city must take proactive steps towards stabilizing and protecting the existing community in the south of market, especially those who are most vulnerable to displacement. without implementing the solutions discussed and i hear in previously soma and the entire city shocking levels of inequality will only worsen. thank you. >> th
