"- john morgan, president, kualoa ranchit was pouring in some parts of oahu monday with much of the islandnoon. a storm system sitting west of kauai triggered heavy showers from kauai to maui. (catherine) we're getting an update on the partially collapsed tunnel at a nuclear waste site in washington state. workers noticed the 20-foot hole in the tunnel's roof yesterday...at the hanford nuclear reservation. the tunnel holds rail cars loaded with equipment contaminated by nuclear waste. so far there's been no evidence of any airborne contamination caused by the collapse. workers are now busy with repairs - laying down a gravel road leading to the collapsedsection of the tunnel. the energy department says no one was injured in the unoccupied tunnel - which has been sealed for decades. and although apparently no radioactive material was released -- non- essential workers were told to stay home today. here in santa clara....dan green says he was only doing the right thing.the retired fire captain was on board a southwest airlines flight sunday when two other passengers got into a fist fight. af
