this is keats circle at oak park road in pleasant hill. we're just down from the oak park road safeway. this is a residential area. they have closed the street. we can tell the power is off. we do have a pg&e employee who has just arrived on the scene. he's just inspecting the site and also here to keep people away from it. he wanted to relieve the police officer who is here so the officer could get about his day. this pg&e employee is here to block this off, but he's waiting for a crew to come and actually fix this. at this point he doesn't know when that's going to happen. he says it was a busy night. they have a lot of power outages to get to. this is just one of many on the list, so for now this little area in pleasant hill is in the dark. live in pleasant hill, amy hollyfield abc7 news. >>> thank you, amy. now let's look at the bay bridge. we saw at least two crashes there overnight. you can see and hear the wind and the rain. this one involved an suv and another involved a jackknifed big rig. it happened on the lower deck around 10:3

folks living on keith circle off of oak park boulevard and pleasant hill, they were without power for several hours after this line snapped around midnight. really a rough wake-up call for some in this neighborhood. >> i have a c-pac device with no battery backup so i stopped breathing. i also have an adjustable bed that is still in a u-shape position, and it woke me up. >> that's a little scarey. >> power also went out i cerrito. neighbors took matters into their own hands to make sure drivers stopped at lights that stayed dark until 8:00 this morning. flooded streets between albany and el cer ri to. you can see our maps showing you exactly where the scene was earlier in the day. the entire parking lot of the central avenue shopping plaza was flooded along with that freeway frontage street. wind and rain dragged a lot of debris on to the streets clogging quite a few storm drains in san francisco. this is just one of several flooded crosswalks we found near fillmore street. the public works crews spent the morning unclogging the drains and clearing more debris before more rain arrives

oak tree here. let's see--i don't see--ah, here's a few acorns. beautiful. we are at el polin springs in the presidio national park at the headwaters of the tennessee hollow watershed. so, it looks small and kind of insignificant, but this is such a rare, important site. it's the last freshwater spring in san francisco. san francisco used to be filled with springs and creeks and little watersheds. 99% of that has been destroyed. this place would've bn a paradise for the ohlone ancestors here thousands of years ago. you have fresh water. you have food plants. you have medicine plants. and then all of the wildlife that is attracted to this area. so, this is directly linked to food sovereignty, that the ohlone people at one point probably ate a lot from this hillside and would probably like to do it again if they were allowed access and an active, tending relationip with these native plants again. when i first started coming to this place, it was still under the army's jurisdiction. access was opening up to the public as the conversion to a national park was opening up. and yet, there was no protection of it. there w
