oakland, san francisco, daly city. then a little break into san mateo but a little further here to the south. east palo alto you're seeing more rain headed toward the santa cruz mountains. starting out wet this morning but by the afternoon, we are going to try to dry things out a little bit anyway so yeah, rain early on, partly cloudy, a few leftover scattered showers this afternoon and then sunny and dry and a warmer weekend as high pressure builds in. the system kind of skirting along the coastline right here will slide on to the south of us. as it does, it will still bring up some showers in our direction and if you are traveling around the state, you're looking at 50s and 60s for highs and plan on some wet weather. this morning that front moves through turning to more widely scattered showers throughout the day and things settle down toward tonight and into tomorrow. so should be a nice dry weekend. the temperatures on this friday 50s and some 60s. the weekend is looking good. we'll start to heat things up a lot of
