they are angry at oakland police. they say they are members of black lives matter bay area and affiliate groups. i recognize a number of these protesters from previous similar protests at the oakland police department as well as the bar station where protesters chained themselves to a station as well as the trains. in this case, we were told that they will be out here for at least several hours. they're being cagey as to how long they will stay. they seem to be here for the long haul. we've had motorists honking in support. this comes on the same day from an invitation by oakland police to invite them to a barbecue. the response is not as positive as what we saw in places like wichita. we talked to a protest organizer. here's her response. >> yeah, so barbecues aren't going to stop the brutality that black folks are facing. barbecue is not going to stop this blockade. as a radical black farmer from east oakland, i eat pigs, i don't eat with them. >> reporter: oakland police say despite that response, their offer remai
