to east oakland. they did find a vehicle but they did not find the suspects a lieutenant told the photographer that they believe road rage they have been a cause of the original shooting. the shooting started at 11:54 last night. the oakland police said an off- duty officer was driving when a gray ford explorer cut them off. they fired shots at the officer. the officer was not hit by gunfire but he said he called it in and followed the suv to east oakland. the suspects got off the highway and an officer joined the pursuit your backdrop after -- avenue. the vehicle disappeared when it made a turn. the gray ford explorer was found damaged and abandon on a property at 55th and brooke still. the police searched the area but did not locate the suspect. right now, we are told the scene has been cleared. the search for the suspect has been called off. the officer who was driving on 880 was not injured by gunfire.>> we will talk to you later.>>> the police recovered a large amount of cash, marijuana, and weap
