it's 57 in oakland and 53 in san francisco.ghs today up to 90 in napa and oakland, 81 degrees, and 88 in palo alto. san jose will also be in the upper 80s. we'll talk about that high heat staying with us for the weekend. and i'll let you know how long it sticks around. mike is tracking two crashes. >> one has an impact to the freeway. one is an impact we're tracking because of the people involved. the speed sensors are not really the major concern. but this is an issue and maybe for a while here. sounds like southbound 880 the off ramp at the fremaund alvarado off ramp, that's closed right now. we don't know how long it will take to clear up a crash that occurred. it does sound like a serious situation, but again, not affecting the freeway, just the off ramp at fremont alvarado. we have a crash here at redwood road at skyline boulevard. and there's a crash here, and we're told the oakland fire department is there trying to help people out of the car. sounds like they're stuck in the car. i don't know the extent of the injuries.
