marchers headed toward oakland city hall. police say multiple people were arrested for assault on officers tweeting some in the crowd threw bottles at officers. in one video you can see someone it's unclear who throw what appears to be a smoke grenade. the department tweeted video of people turning over orange barricades. at one point the 12 street city b.a.r.t. station was closed due to quote, civil unrest. police say there were no reports of damage to businesses. the protests began wednesday night after a grand jury in kentucky decided not to indict any police officers for the shooting death of taylor. protests have been happening now across the country. and on the peninsula here a rally was also held on menlo park. several community groups took part and the protests appeared to remain peaceful there. police stopped counterprotesters from reaching a larger group taking part in a prolaw enforcement rally. there's no word of any unrest following a brief clash that happened there. about 50 other people held flags and waved fla

it is a slow ride out of downtown oakland.outh of there, we are getting reports of a crash at 238 and it looks like traffic will see two lanes are blocked due to this crash and it looks like you might have injuries involved. southbound 880, that is towards the 238 connector. south of there, traffic is moving better and towards the san mateo bridge and the span, there are no brake lights towards 101 and 101 itself along that site looks good in both directions. if you were going out of walnut creek, south 880 has brake lights building all the way into pleasant hill. you have some roadwork to contend with near this area, blocking one or two lanes. the earlier trouble spot we had eastbound 24 near pleasant hill road has been cleared out. we do have commuters heading over to your's allatoona pass. brake lights are pouring out of tracy, around 205 in a.d. onto 580 and it extends to north flynn. that is a look at your morning ride. it is slightly better. >>> we are looking at better air quality and we will continue to see improving a
