now oakland does have a crime problem, but i don't want to pick on oakland because this morning i was reading that new york city. in l. a san francisco lot of the big cities are having crime problems. but you know, for some reason, oaklands in the news a lot for gun violence. do you feel as if maybe oakland's being singled out or, you know how do you feel about oakland's reputation? i think that oakland has seen an increase in violence like other cities have seen throughout the country. i think, but oakland has been addressing gun violence . we currently are down in homicides this year. every homicide is important. and so we don't want to take credit for that at this point, but we have seen violent crime begin to come down, and that really has been an effort that has been between not only the police officers in oakland, but the community members in oakland who have stepped up and helped us address gun violence through our ceasefire strategy. and so we continue to value that partnership and moving forward. i think that's how we make oakland and safe city together. so this initiative, y

well, alameda oakland and san mateo at 55. not that you're at 56 per klee and timber on out a little closer to the low 50's to even upper 40's. so definitely jacket where the this morning grey skies along the coastline through the bay sunshine inland. and all of us will see a bit of sunshine, at least even at the coast towards the afternoon. as far as our roadways go, hasn't been the worst commute this morning. we did see some issues earlier on the bay bridge. but those have since been cleared. and that's really good news. it's taking you 15 minutes to get across the bay bridge. now getting to the bay bridge is another story entirely. we do have a disabled vehicle on 80 eastbound. so this is counter kirk commute direction. that's backing things up in the counter commute right there. and we also have bridge work on 80 westbound abbey avenue in berkeley. that does have one lane closed and even one lane, this time of mourning will slow things down for you, especially on 80. as for the san mateo bridge, it's an 18 minute drive. li
