we've got some light rain falling in san francisco, oakland. looks like maybe san leandro. kind of the cut off few sprinkles for the inner east bay, but the south bay fairly dry. may have a little bit of rain falling below the radar beam, but not much. and the futurecast model will show you that the rain will continue as we get into your lunch hour. notice we do have an uptick in the rain. we've got yellow. pockets of yellow indicating the moderate rain. but then by dinner time it's moving out and we are left with mostly cloudy skies on and off scattered showers. and this is going to remain for sunday as well, favoring the north bay, but kind of a break as the moisture plume pushes north temporarily. but here's a look at the futurecast when it comes to the long range models. so we get past the weekend. we are enjoying some nice rain. temperatures are relatively mild, but then this begins to drop in and this is going to be a colder storm by monday. this is the system that will drop snow levels once again, perhaps 4 or 5000ft. and notice how this

tributes were flowing at the oakland arena today as a's fans and the oakland community said a final goodbyelegendary rickey henderson. it was all for a celebration of life. loved ones and former teammates of henderson shared memories and looked back on his historic career. among those in the baseball world was hall of famer and former manager tony la russa, who had henderson on his team for seven seasons. the event was sold out. it's a good time to go back through history and realize the impact that he had and just kind of refresh that to make sure that we do remember that people are still rooted in oakland for the a's. over his 25 year baseball career, henderson won two world series titles, an mvp award, and was a ten time all star. henderson also holds the all time steals record with over 1400 stolen bases in his career. he died in late december at the age of 65, due to complications from pneumonia. turning now to our weather. taking a live look at the uc berkeley sierra snow lab and soda springs, there it is. researchers say they've received just under seven inches of snow over the last

if i zoom this in a bit closer towards the east bay, notice oakland san francisco along 880 as well. so please be careful in the roads. we haven't seen raiain in quite some time,o any storm gutters or things like that. good day to clean them before the bigger impacts head into the weekend. now in the south bay. notice here we've still got a bit of rain shadowing going on, but we do have a flood watch that will be in place through sunday night, so please be mindful of the areas highlighted here in green. we're going to monitor the streams, creeks and river flows as well. very important. right now it looks like they could fall just slightly below that monitor or flood stage. we're going to monitor that. but also keep in mind those low lying areas are the typical areas where we see flooding along the roads, highways, things like that. as far as the hour by hour forecast, i advances to about 9:00 tonight. you'll notice we'll still get some pockets at times. it still remains fairly light to moderate, but then overnight into early saturday we do see some areas that start to pick up heavier
