tributes were flowing at the oakland arena today as a's fans and the oakland community said a final goodbyelegendary rickey henderson. it was all for a celebration of life. loved ones and former teammates of henderson shared memories and looked back on his historic career. among those in the baseball world was hall of famer and former manager tony la russa, who had henderson on his team for seven seasons. the event was sold out. it's a good time to go back through history and realize the impact that he had and just kind of refresh that to make sure that we do remember that people are still rooted in oakland for the a's. over his 25 year baseball career, henderson won two world series titles, an mvp award, and was a ten time all star. henderson also holds the all time steals record with over 1400 stolen bases in his career. he died in late december at the age of 65, due to complications from pneumonia. turning now to our weather. taking a live look at the uc berkeley sierra snow lab and soda springs, there it is. researchers say they've received just under seven inches of snow over the last

and it's just over a quarter of an inch in san francisco and oakland and just under a 10th in san jose. but boy, when you get these atmospheric river event, you can watch the rain really add up in a hurry, especially over some of the mountains. the coastal range is that's where things really ramp up. another band of rain just moving onshore in the south. san francisco in 7 tail stretching across toward hayward and fremont livermore too. but there's plenty more to go. in fact, this stream of moisture coming all the way from the tropics all the way from the hawaiian islands. that area of low pressure off the coastline known as an aloha, low really ramping up that moisture and pick a name at california. we've got flood watches posted for the entire bay area. not expecting the major rivers to crest over their banks, but expect the possibility of flooding anywhere around the bay area throughout the weekend. >> thank you, lawrence. pg e says they are prepped for this storm. the utility has stockpiled equipment, wires and power poles which tend to get damaged during wet and windy weather pg.
