oakland police responded to two separate overnight shootings. the first happened just before 11 a.m. police say shots were fired at a party. one man was taken too highland the hospital where he died. another man and a woman were injured but are expected to arrive -- survive. police also found a man shot in the hand on 86th avenue. that man may have been responsible for the shooting. a second shooting was reported just after 11 p.m. at 73rd avenue. officers found an suv riddled with bullet holes. the unidentified victim was found in a nearby house and taken to the hospital with treatment of gunshot wounds to the arms and legs. so far no arrests have been made in either shooting. >> oakland police today released new information in those arrests following the sentencing of former bart police officer mehserle. he was sentenced to two years in prison for the death of unarmed passenger oscar grant. police say in all 152 people were arrested. 145 of those were adults. seven were minors. now, 56 of those arrested live outside of oakland, including in san

. >>> three men are in custody after leading oakland police and the highway patrol on a high speed chase across the bay bridge. the chp said the chase began on westboundster state 580 in oakland. officers tried to stop the car because they thought it was stolen. it continued across the bay bridge and 1:30 in the morning. the driver turned around and tried to head back to oakland. the chp finally stopped the car near 23rd and east 25th street. the car turned out to not be stolen so officers are now trying to question the men to trying to figure out why they sped away. also new, the san francisco 49ers stadium proposal goes back before the city council today. it will occur tabling a plan and there is no immediate rush since the team announced there is a delay and the opening is expected in 2015. the counsel will consider a billing agreement between the city and the team for a police escort. the santa clara council wants the team to reimburse the police department for the escorts as they occur. >> work is under way on building muni's central subway line south of market area and chinatown. o

oakland police arrested 150 protesters. many of those for unlawful assembly. the trouble began about 630 after a peaceful rally downtown city hall. a group of about 200 people decided to leave downtown and marched to the bart station where oscar brand was killed. the march was very organized there is very little leadership, the people leading up marks lost control of the crowd. some demonstrators threw bart goals into the crowd. some protesters smashed the windshield of an ac transit bus and cars. they also broke store front windows. someone set a trash can on fire. protesters threw rocks at officers, and hit a police officer to and often to the ground. that is what the authorities decided to box the protestors in. >> please do not resist. please do not resist. >> it was on that street officers are rest of 152 protesters all but one-third were cited were from outside of oakland. protesters say they're upset with some of the marchers those acts of vandalism are overshadowed the purpose of the march which was to the med justice and equality. in oakland by ed dah

oakland zoo. ktvu's kraig debro joins us now with information. >> reporter: good morning, tori. within the past few minutes, the police tow trucks have hauled away both of the vehicles involved in this accident at 106th and macarthur. this is just west of the oakland zoo. just a horrible accident. the impact happened probably around 80 miles an hour, according to witnesses. if you look in the middle of the street and beyond, as you go to the auto service center, you can just see all of the oil, the fluid from the cars, all spilled out as a result of the impact. the oakland police are trying to put together the last moments of the chase that led to the crash and ended two lives. at 2:00 a.m. this morning, the chp said it spotted a bmw driving westbound. driving too fast. then they attempted to pull over the driver. instead, the suspect sped off, and the chp gave chase. the vehicle got off the freeway at 106th avenue and foothill and continued driving northbound on macarthur. when the vehicle got to macarthur and 106th avenue, it got into a collision with the second vehicle. >> i figured, they're just going to pass each
