oakland's human resources. none could explain the discrepancy, but the auditor is now recommending a full citywide review. vallejoice are announcing a new joint effort with federal agents to reduce gun violence. it comes in the wake of a recent string of shootings in vallejo. one week ago, the city recorded its second homicide of the year. police officers will work with the atf to try to reduce the number of guns. it's not clear yet how the partnership will work. vallejo pd says more details will be unveiled over the coming weeks. today, santa rosa school leaders will make a final decision on at least part of their plans to close schools. the special meeting of school district takes place this afternoon. now, on wednesday, the press democrat reports they agreed to o shut down three elementary schools. brook hill and albert bell elementary will close this june. still lane will close next june. the board is still trying to settle planned closures for secondary schools, likely. one middle school and one high school. but for now, that decision is to hold indefinitely. a campbell restaurant sounding the alarm. this is
