(steve) in national headlines... nearly two dozen residents and a firefighter are recovering from injuries tonight after a four-story building caught on fire in the bronx. investigators say the fire started on the first floor furniture store early this morning. adults and children evacuated from the three stories of the apartments above. first responders arrived in less than four minutes and had to thaw out hydrants because of the freezing cold weather. the fire has left 22 people without a home. a mother described the panic felt throughout the building. erica ortiz says:"i literally slipped down the fire escape with my baby. i just felt very scared, very scared, very scared, i didn't know whether we was out of the apartment, my kids would slip - the fire department thr
