more than 60 seniors living in an oakley apartment complex are staying in a hotel tonight. after they were forced to evacuate. as nbc bay area's marianne favro explains, an unusual incident forced the power in their building to be shut off. reporter what started as a midmorning call of someone stuck in an elevator at oak grove senior terrace on carroll lane in oakley, quickly grew to much more. that's correct. they determined that the elevator was stuck between floors because of a water leak or an unknown substance in a bathtub on the second floor that overflowed from the bathtub into the wall, and the load bearing wall that has the electrical service for the entire apartment complex. firefighters say no one was inside the stuck elevator, but the hazmat team was called in to figure out what was inside this bathtub. in one of the units, firefighters say it might be sewage with the electrical system impacted, shut off power for safety reasons, forcing more than 60 seniors to evacuate. but it was not an easy process. some of them are in wheelchairs or use walkers, others have
