this morning, we saw some folks down in historic oakwood opting to get out and walk and check that were open. and, of course, the sound being heard across the triangle today, those ice scrapers as some people are trying their luck at driving. that is not recommended. like elsewhere, folks are keeping a close eye on the trees and all the power lines and we are starting to see at least here in downtown raleigh some of those trees starting to ice up. but again, we are starting to see more and more people out here on the roads as these still, they are very tricky and very dangerous to navigate. we talked to the folk over at raleigh, the raleigh police department. since midnight, they have had to respond to 26 calls. fortunately, nobody has been hurt but those folks are going to be taking their cars to the mechanics shop and that is no fun at all. >> no, it is not. >> let's just hope the sounds of scraping doesn't morph into the sound of chain saws later on this afternoon. >> please. >>> amanda lamb is live coming from zebulon to raleigh on 264 west. anything changed out there for you? >> re
