when both come together, you have greatness. - oasis are back.e city of manchester, it's been a long wait. i went to the same school that the gallagher brothers did, so it's just been like where i live locally, they're just like this... they're so important to manchester and especially to where i went to school. like, we're really proud of them. i just love them. i'm actually only 24, so i would have been nine when they broke up the first time, but... so this is an opportunity for me. do you know what i mean? if i was old enough the first time, i would definitely gone and seen them but... you know, now i've got the chance, it's... you know, it's a good chance for the younger generation, you know. people like me and people even in their late 20s won't have got a chance to see them the first time around. # the world around us. # makes me feel so small.# this was one of the band's last shows at heaton park here in manchester in 2009. # is it worth the aggravation?# and they'll be back there next year for their homecoming, playing four dates in july.
