i know the occ has some of reach. we received an e-mail, a nice letter from a young man who is with the youth commission. they are proposing and would like to do a joint commission meeting with us, as we did once with the human rights commission, to hear from the kids -- what they think, and have the police present and hear them talk. being a parent, i understand what teenagers are thinking. a lot of interactions officers have are with teenagers. sometimes, teenagers do not see things the same as those of us who are older. i think it is nice for there to be an open dialogue and conversation, why the police officers do what they should. i spoke to supervisor compos about this today. he was pretty excited about it. i would like to propose a meeting with the commissions and supervisor campos. it is a very important meeting. we have seen cases where police officers to engage juvenile. kids tend to say things. the cannot control themselves at times. it would be nice to hear from the kids and officers working with them. i w

the action is that it is part of the problem. -- the occ is part of the problem. we have 150 bad officers. any officer that assault somebody in custody should no longer be a police officer under any conditions whatsoever. when i find that out or the public learns that, unless occ turns over the list of police officers that have multiple complaints against them, i read today in the paper about the ongoing federal investigation and i believe it is connecticut, of beating up, harassing citizens while they are handcuffed and assaulted them and that is what happened to me. i think this is unconscionable. it should not take place in any police department in the united states but it does take place. i do not believe we need a federal investigation here but we need a separation of powers between the occ and the police commission and the police department and a separation of the police officers' union which supports bad officers. one of the baathist officers -- baddest is the president of the union that owes the city and county $700,000 in back pay and wages. for being on

i filed it with this commission and the occ office on the fourteenth or fifteenth. i don't see it. for an issue of further discussion, i am always bid on solving the murder rate. not using words like clearance, but solved and unsolved murders. i am big on that, any major metropolitan area that goes with unsolved murders year after year in a high technology age. no offense for the sfpd, but before the chief took office, there was a murder down in the area and i brought it to the attention of the police department. it did not look anything like csi. just empty desks. this is the detective department, where are we? unsolved murders have a lot of database to them. you heard how they found saddam hussein. they talked to hundreds of people to find out where he was. for the murder in the marina which took place on the doorsteps of george gaston's apartment, all was posted was one poster. the police came back once again and as far as i was concerned, the investigation was over. i don't know if they ever found the guy. if murders go that way, they dropped like lead balloons and once it happ
