that means more work for occ >> that bares an issue for occ to see if they have an area to report whether for any bicycle complaints or pedestrian complaints. it's something we can bring up with with the occ and see if thing catalog it. >> i would appreciate the support of the board and commission when the complaints come just because we're doing more enforcement that we're doing it to save lives, not to make anybody sad that they're getting tickets. they could avoid the ticket by not committing the violation. >> i know the answer. i do want to command you for having the captains here from all the different stations. one of the things we heard about some people talking about, their district stations and doing enforcement and doing a great job, are all the district stations doing the monthly enforcement plans and if not, why not and if they are are you monitoring that as well? or have the ability to monitor it? >> is anybody not doing a district enforcement? >> and then the last thing, i'm assuming the answer is yes. >> i didn't get a no. >> the last thing was if you are going to come up w

the occ personnel should rind from entering into discussions and please limit our comments to 3 minutes >> time for public comment. >> good evening, commissioners. i'm happy to say we've made it to the end of the year i'm sad i won't be seeing you actually january. it's been an interesting year for jack i didn't and i have been able to meet and become evenly adam with another police captain. he's done an incredible job and the most powerful guy in the room knows i'm not easily expressed. with the champion kers he's tale an interest in the street and has come out on his own and made arrests of the people who are smoking in the bus stop in the shelter which is one of my pet peeves i don't care what you're smoking unless it's pot. it's really made a difference. this is the second meeting that he and i have been together because we had a community meeting with jane kim concerning the shooting on market street and jones and it was, you know, was most of the more than he was there and chipper as usual so i get to add him to the people i enjoy working with and it's champion michael redd anyone

it will create more work for the occ. there is no ticket ever well received however courtesy given so we would like to see a partnership. there's no way we're not going to see more tickets. we are. there will be more enforcement, especially the intersections to be dangers and we get. complaints and the time to cross the street can be done not on the cell phone or looking down. people shouldn't be texting and it's a expensive ticket and whether uber or regular drivers and pay attention and slow down. we train the officers -- the first thing we tell them on emergency vehicle operations is you have to get there so regardless how fast you can go or in a code three we can safely navigate going through a red light. if you get in a traffic accident and not providing help that is called for you're of no help to anyone so switching that to the general public and take the 30 seconds to dloa slow down. it takes longer dealing with a police officer giving a ticket or an accident and everyone slow down just like we were taught as kids
