it's been a very busy day for everyone involved with occupy d.c. of course police showed up in riot gear before dawn to in essence clean this park out. take a look behind me. you can see the operations still taking place right now. those people you see in hazmat suits, they were brought here by the police earlier today. right now they're clearing out the tents, getting rid of hazardous materials that they found here as well as getting rid of anything that's considered bedding. of course park police in riot gear standing by the mcpherson square, they forced protesters out on the streets. i'll tell you something, they got a rude awakening today that still is is not sitting well. it was about 6:00 a.m. when u.s. park police showed up in full force at mcpherson square. occupiers promptly popped out of their tents and faced off with dozens of cops in riot gear and on horseback. the police brought with them crews in hazmat suits to clean out the park. they came to enforce the no- camping policy and toss out anything they consider to be bedding. the tents
