park police are making rounds at both of the occupy d.c. sites tonight enforcing the no camping in the park rule and protestors tell us the officers told help to expect more inspections early tomorrow morning. this morning on day two of the sweep park police gave protestors at freedom plaza an hour warning, then came back and swept through the site looking for bedding, cooking materials, anything that could be used for camping. they said they will enforce the no sleeping rule. they cleared most of the tents hazmat teams took down a handful with unsanitary conditions of one person was arrested for threatening an officer, but there seems to be very little trouble. >> they came in here with a clear cut direct saying you get in compliance. we'll be out as fast as we can. they were here about three hours and they left. that was it. our kitchen got flying color inspection. our media and medical department passed with flying colors. >> reporter: all of that is a clear contrast to the raid saturday morning at mcpherson square. officers arrived in t

since the camping ban went into effect at mcpherson square, there has been tension between the occupy d.c. protesters and park police. police warned they would move in yesterday with force. this morning, we saw that are dozens of officers raided the camp here and they were looking for any type of sleeping material and those who still might be sleeping here at the federally-own the park. we are told that a group leaving a nightclub nearby got into an altercation with some of the protesters and police moved in and they arrested a man for disorderly conduct. the man was pulled out of a tent and he was handcuffed. activists say the man does stay at the camp from time to time but he is not an active member of occupy the seat they had a warrant for his arrest. there are still a number of protesters here taking part of what they call a sleep strike. they are now going on more than 30 hours without sleep. >> thank you. it was a rough night for people living in northwest d.c. apartment building. the people were forced to leave their building on r street after flames started after midnight and maz-
