we shot video today at ocean beach. they are above average. 11 to 14 is higher than average. tonight and tomorrow they will be slightly lower. temperatures down tonight. livermore 42, santa rosa 42. that's not as chilly as the past few nights because we are grabbing just the slight amount of an ocean influence. i want to show you something cool. why did we hit the 70s today? the wind is from the south to the north especially in the santa clara valley. the wind profile in the atmosphere, the red color is the fastest moving winds in the jet stream. and look at cloud cover racing you understand that right now. that storm track is slowly but surely leaving the pacific northwest. it's heading to northern california. it's good news for you if you want rainfall. we are not going to see that much rain but it will be a pattern change starting friday. tomorrow thursday more of the same. sunny clouds offshore and many of you will end the day in the low to mid-70s. friday morning, you will notice not as much sunshine. and by friday evening, futurecast is painting just a few drips of rain
