looking close to home here, princess ann, salisbury and ocean city, also extending all the way down to the southern end of the state and also just a little bit of wintery shower action toward sullivan's island. where was the big action today winter weather wise? out of roanoke virginia coming down, a winter wonder land down there. maryland skier? plenty of fresh powder on the slopes. but close to home, it's dry. no sledding to be had. humidity is moderate and winter advisory just about done but what we have left for the south western corner, dorchester county down toward princess ann, just a few blue shaded areas in our area and a winter weather advisory on the edge of that. temperature wise, not really cold enough to support anything sticking and as we look farther south and east we do see this line. that's going to be moving out through the overnight hours and that dryer air would help to prevent that storm from moving further north in the situation. as we look at the overall set up we're going to have a cool day tomorrow but we're going to warm things up into 50 tomorrow. so a bitte

the sun is just beginning to poke through the cloud deck at ocean city. the boardwalk and the beach, it's snow covered. they got snow from the previous storm as well on thursday. down is there it's 21 degrees and at b.w.i. marshall it's 21 degrees. the barometer is rising and we have a west wind at 3 miles an hour. at sandy point park there's a shot of it in the sand. so everybody got a little bit of snow out of this weather maker. generally an inch or less. at stevensville, 24. ridgely, 21. parkton. we factor in these winds blowing at 10-15 miles an hour and everybody feels like it's in the teens this morning. the breeze is having its effect hear as to the way it feels. satellite image shows the clouds overhead. a little enhancement. it's not lake-effect snows. it's an actual little disturbance or mini storm moving through. it's still a little bit up in the great lakes. it will reinforce the clouds. what we're really watching is a storm developing in the west. that will affect us next week. things are pretty quiet, though. we'll average it out by saying
