down the shore, we're looking at areas of fog in ocean city and atlantic city even kay mape.ht now temperatures on the mild side down the shore in the 60s. philadelphia 59. 60 in pottstown. 61 in trenton. we have a surge of southwesterly winds and that's going to continue through the day tomorrow. a cold front to the west is going to break that heat and that's not going to come in until tomorrow night. ahead of it look at that orange and red contour. that is a lot of warm air going all it way up to new england on the back side you see that blue, behind that front, temperatures in the 20s and the teens. we're not going to get that cold this week. but a piece of that colder air will be moving in for thursday and friday. so let's go hour by hour. overnight tonight we see some fog forming. not as bad as we i was saw this morning. that burns off. we see parly sunny skies. warm temperatures. a surge of warmth ahead of this frontal. this move through during the evening. and that front will stall and that means periods of rain beginning on thursday. so thursday morning, spotty shower

notice some clouds in this view from ocean city. won't be as clear as yesterday, but it is going to be a warmer day. a little bit of a breeze blowing. if you look closely you can see the flags on the boathouse blowing. a spring-like day. temperatures this afternoon will climb into the low 60s. that's today. tomorrow rain arrives and that storm will bring us gusty winds that will continue into the weekend making for a chilly weekend. today it's going to be an outdoor kind of day. 40 degrees right now in philadelphia. that's 10 degrees above normal for this time of year. and look at those temperatures climbing into the 50s by lunchtime and a nice day for the suburbs, too. you can see a few scattered clouds from this live view. near 60 degrees this afternoon in a few suburbs. the cool spot is the lehigh valley. some pockets of colder air. once the sun is up the temperatures recover here nicely. 57 at 2:00 in the afternoon. there are a few colder neighborhoods. most of new jersey is little bit warmer than that. and you'll temperatures c

, kind of some foggy conditions out there, as well, now i want to take to you our ocean city camerato show you another view of the fog, a lot of areas down the shore, some of our shore points and delaware beaches, we are dealing with locally dense fog , as we start out the day this sunday. areas that are not dealing with the fog are dealing with the rain and i will show thaw on storm scan three. a lot of the rain is occurring from new castle county and points north in philadelphia, poconos, northern new jersey, and even some heavier downpours into burlington county. that we're dealing with right now, located just east of the new jersey turnpike, even starting to get some light rain, light steady rain and new castle county around newark area, it is just ayuky, morning, damp, gross morning, heavier pockets of the rain moving through pemberton area, you can pick those colors out, orange, yellow, pockets of heavier rainfall we're dealing with this morning. it has been a soggy, soggy february, 18, of the 25 days, so far we have seen at least a trace or more, of some type of precipitation
