we are in the 3,000 block of long beach road in oceanside. they are trying to put out areas of fire. it is still smoking. take a look at the video taken this morning. when they arrived there was heavy fire from the back of the second floor. they went to work but had to pull out of the building due to a collapse in the back part. 40 minutes into the fire it went to a second alarm. it has taken out most of the block damaging several stores and apartments above them. we did speak to the owner of the apartment building where he got the call about 4:30 this morning that his building was on fire. >> my building is completely gone it looks like. >> everybody is safe. that is a good sign. >> that's the important thing. the fire department is still trying to douse the flames here. clearly taken out most of the block. the good news this morning, no one was injured. all of the residents were able to get out. none of them were harmed. not even a firefighter, even with the collapse and serious situation they had when they first arrived earlier this mornin
