market octavia cac is a little bit further along. they have a list of what projects they see as their priorities we are in the middle of figuring out what the process is that we have. that is the high level summary of the ipic report. this report is a new report. this is the first time we have done it. we also tried to clean up how we administer the city, how we administer all the various impact fees. if you recall, we put them all in one section and tried to make them read consistently. we tried to do all the monitoring in one spot. i think there was a lot of good lessons learned and a lot of good relationships between all the agencies involved with impact fee collection. as you can see, it is a fairly good summary. there are about 23 plants covered in here. there are also city-wide fees, the inclusionary housing program and some of the downtown area specific fees, and the report covers the expenditures, and if you're looking for more detail, it tells you which sponsored paid each fee to get to the sum total. and the controller's of

supervisor weiner: i presume this is because of market octavia and eastern neighborhoods. a lot of these survey areas are some of the most transit-rich areas in the city. do you agree with that? >> yes. supervisor weiner: do you foresee any potential impact of focusing a lot of our surveying energy on the transit-oriented parts of the city that could perhaps absorb additional transit-oriented development in terms of meeting our goals of building housing near transit? >> how we approached it is the survey is one of the many tools and studies we need to accomplish to support -- range planning efforts. what we found with the service, even though the area plans move forward in the surveys, is there were a lot of complex sites in terms of areas that werere- known for higher density or development, increased heights, etc. the survey is one component we use, but it does not necessarily become the only thing we rely on when developing policies, whether they are transportation policies or other policies. i would like to briefly focus on ceqa. supervisor cohen: i have a question abo

it is spelled out and defined in the housing element itself, but that is a process, like market octavia where the board and the planning commission enacts staff to undergo a plan for a neighborhood. staff works with community for a number of years before an environmental review process is initiated. there are a number of procedural steps before the planning commission and board before any changes. the other big thing going throughout the housing element is that we don't have a one size fits all response for our city. we have never really done that. we have looked at the history of zoning throughout san francisco and going back to like the 60's. we wept from four residential districts, to six, and now we have 13. the last zoning round added a few more. as we do more work in more localized areas, we get more complex and nuanced to how we respond to the context. that asserts and boosts that approach. the third theme is about affordable housing. while we don't have to do any rezoning to meet our housing needs allegation, we have a lot of advocacy work to do to meet our share of housing. the
