folks that you know, you have, sort of deputy director level from mta and you have that level from oewd, and you have the deputy director of dph and so she is actually at this point, senior staff at planning and so you know, i don't think that john ram expected to come. beyond that, we do hear your concerns about involving the community and we do have it about three months away from the time, every year in the spring, there is going to be quite a bit of sort of work on evaluating and monitoring the da every year. and so, i do take absolutely the importance of having a process around that i would not worry too much that in february, that has not started, i think that the time that it started is probably in the next couple of months and we think that it makes more sense to be focused around the particular time of year every year, and not sort of out over the years and that has been our plan if you feel differently, we should discuss that and we can do it differently, but recently doing what we intended to do and what is codified in the development agreement. >> supervisor yee? >> thank yo

through our existing programs we have some with rec and parks department as well as oewd i recently just received a notice of award for a unified school district program with oewd, as well as a small contract with the port through the conservation corps. through our existing programs we have the ability to work with neighborhood youth and really match them with these life-changing experiences and opportunities. we want the ecocenter to be a place where we inspire the youth to get involved and dream really big. our outreach network, which i'm moving into the third bullet point there for the targeted community outreach, our outreach network includes existing relationships with community leaders, our churches, our unified school district schools, community groups, other youth organizations and collaboratively we will all bring these resources together to make sure that we are extending the information ought -- out into the community and we will continue to grow this network and apply the proven methods and best practices to inform a very diverse audience and i will hand it back over to cary

ago, this project was dead in the water, and that the efforts on the part of the mayor's office and oewd to reach some sort of an agreement, had basically failed over the issue of saint lukes hospital, and at that point, we came to the board, and asked the board to become involved, made some suggestions, and so the suggestions were accepted. and we moved on to create the development agreement, that we see today. we have a continuing interest, to the coalition of san franciscans for healthcare, and housing, and jobs, and justice. and made up of some 60 community based organizations and coalitions of organizations. to meet the three main, if you will objectives, of our program for this development, the first is following up on the innovative solutions, that this board and cpmc came to end of the development agreement, around employment training and placement, and around healthcare and around the creation of a new saint lukes hospital. and our difficulty is in meeting those three objectives, the role of city departments has been extraordinary passive, basically waiting for checks in the mai

really overseeing the end use and non-construction jobs as well and i just wanted to ask the rep from oewd once the projections are given for those entry level jobs and as a numbers come forward how they will be shared with the community? how are we going to get the numbers out so that they are transparent and we can so the progress and that we are on top of it so that the community and the labor coalition that supported this project could be satisfied that we are doing everything that we can to make sure that our residents from the stubbornly high unemployment neighborhoods are well served? >> how we are going to be transparent about this? >> our goal is to have it back and the first development to make sure that we do share any of those projections with our providers and they are the ones that we fund, and also, to the community members who we don't fund are part of the network and so we do hold the regular job developer meetings with folks and we will bring that there and we have distribution lists of hundreds of folks from dozens of organizations and we will definitely continue to targ

community, but not only through our office, it includes the mayor's office of public policy and finance, oewd, hsa, dpr, dcyf real estate division, planning department, controller's office, and about 11 or 12 community based organizations. we've had two formal meetings so far, one in december and the second one in january. we plan to have two more meetings. one in february and one more in march. our hope is to deliver the final report beginning in april to comply with requirements put forth in the working group sponsored by supervisors mar, kim, and cohen. you'll see in the budget analyst report that we did not give a full recommendation as to how the 2.515 will be allocated so far. in speaking with the budget office and members of other city departments, we feel like -- we feel as if we would like to wail until the final report has been finally vetted before we determine what portions of funds could go to what solutions as acquisition and rehab, subdifficulties. we talked about many different solutions. as you'll see in the report, these looked at public private partnerships in conversations
