ofelia trevino will present again. >> good morning, president knutzen and commissioners. this morning, i ask for your approval for a grant to allow the arc san francisco to provide services for disabilities in a peer mentorship grant. it's to empower people with abilities and disabilities and advocate for a more equitable san francisco that celebrates all, no matter race, orientation, or ability. the arc provides educational services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. these services are responsive to the unique needs of adult learners and provide individual services to allow the process of new information, ideas, and skills. services offered by the arc include foundational competencies, like self-awareness, self-management, responsible decision making, social awareness, and relationship skills, which are all integral skills to maintain independence among adults with disabilities. the program is also made up of two components. the first component is educational and advocacy, and course offerings will include antiracist, equity and advocacy course
