right now it's taped off. about a half block down tioga is where the lobby window was shattered from a bullet. let's go to video so you can get a closer look at this window. this happened before 11:30 last night at broad and tioga in north philadelphia. police say the off duty officer was riding his motorcycle when he and another vehicle crashed into each other. what exactly happened we don't yet know but police say he fired three shots at that vehicle. at least one bullet went through the lobby window of temple university hospital's outpatient services center and lodged into the lobby wall. thankfully no one inside was hit. that other vehicle took off. it's described as a chevrolet monte carlo. it was last seen heading east on tioga. philadelphia police responded as did temple police. now, we are hearing that there is surveillance video that captured the crash that kicked this whole thing off. so far that video has not been released but that will be a useful piece of evidence for investigators. we are live in

that's off to the side. bus and police cruiser crash at 63rd and harvelder -- harve haverford. >>> let's go over to annie mccormick she is live on the scene in philadelphia's feltonville section. good morning, annie. >> reporter: when the shootout began on the 100 block of wyoming after exchanging gunfire with the security guard, the shooter jumped into a vehicle with two other people. they made it around the corner and ditched the vehicle at rising sun before they took off. this is video from the scene, it was just before 2:00 a.m. that calls flooded 911 after hearing shots fired in the 100 block of wyoming. police say an armed uniformed security guard with a permit to carry heard and saw gunfire across the street from the bar where he works in the 100 block of wyoming. he began exchanging gunfire with the shooter. the security guard was shot in the leg. police say appears the shooter got into a which chevy malibu wo others, and began to shoot before ditching the car around the corner. >> the security guard
