stormtracker 6 live double scan radar showing moisture over the ohio valley ear of low pressure over ward and just to the south of philadelphia. so later tonight into monday we have light snowfall on the way. but the problem is monday night into tuesday you can see this area of low pressure will transfer the energy off the coast and work its way east ward. at that time you can see the storm system will intensify as it works its way up the eastern seaboard and tuesday you have heavy snowfall north and east of our region. second wave monday night into tuesday. winter weather alerts toel you about. a winter storm warning for philadelphia and heart of our region as you move over to the west we have a winter storm watch in effect and for all of delaware counties and chester and lancaster and berks and lehigh and the poconos as we go top monday evening and into tuesday. a blizzard warning is in eye infect for ocean county and areas north and east. in fact that's where we expect to find the brunt of a storm system. it's not for our region. it is those areas in new york city and boston where

you can see the precipitation has started in the ohio valley and into west virginia. it extends into the midwest. that's part of a clipper that's going to be moving into the area during the afternoon hours and staying into this evening. here's the hour-by-hour future weather that's on the move. and by early in the afternoon, the western suburbs will start to see the snow with light accumulation. but it will be on the move too, and the snow will intensify during the late afternoon hours for parts of the i-95 corridor. from philadelphia into delaware across central delaware and into south jersey as well. so a snowmaker is on the way. but it will be quiet this morning and dry. it's this afternoon that the snow and sleet will start. a minute mall amount of sleet to begin with. the snow will be continuing into the evening hours. and temperatures peak in the middle 30s right at the beginning of the event. but as the snow starts to come down so will the temperature. a look at how much to expect when i'm back in ten. >>> at 4:42 time to get a check of the roads this morning.
