for four or five days out there in the nation's midsection from the mississippi valley over the ohio valleyd it's because you've got this little pressure kind of lingering up in here and then the jet stream just driving storms right through kentucky, tennessee, arkansas, st louis, you know in and that's continuing most of the activities drifting south towards atlanta, but now it's going to be hot in those areas and we're also going to see showers. up towards the northeast. so it's just kind of a conveyor belt if you will of moisture, and just so you know, and you do know this that we're connected. right so what happens out here? for instance, that low that we've got kind of gave us what we the weather that we've seen the kind of cooler weather that will do something in the midwest and the next two or three days, it will. it will enhance that low or, you know, just everything is connected. so at that point um some of the storms that go through here end up going through there a few days later. not specifically this one that i'm showing you now, which is just kind of a week weather system here

you can see a system moving across the tennessee and ohio river valley, thunderstorms across texas, we will see potential for rain in the forecast for mississippi and alabama into georgia over the next couple days, wednesday into thursday and showers crop up from the gulf coast. look at potential for stronger storms for the northeast. today through this evening could see large hail, damaging wind and isolated tornados causing flash flooding. this will happen through wednesday, look at severe storm threat, not a severe weather outbreak, potential for damaging storms, especially this afternoon. the forecast today, see temperatures especially warm for the southwest around seasonal temperatures for south. look at montana, 92, and 90 in seattle, back to warm temperatures for the northwest. heat alert for parts of southwest and california and tropics, been so quiet, starting to see activity now getting into peak season, it will not take much to ramp up here. one area to watch, the current position going toward the lesser antilles. we have the waves coming off coast of africa, where we look t
