commissioner ohlhausen, you have been waiting patiently and i appreciate that. thank you, commissioner pai, for your remarks. many people similarly maybe and then with the ftc's enforcement authority, and its actions on the internet more generally. could you please give us a quick summary as commissioner pai did for the fcc of the commissions, the ftc's, legal authority and highlight some of the agency processes, how those work and give some examples of recent enforcement actions speak with thank you for moderating the panel, and commissioner pai from it is likewise we always a pleasure to appear on a panel with you. i think our views are very compatible which i appreciate having a look commissions with compatible views. but anyway, thank you for the federalist society for hosting and for the national press club. i am delighted to be. i should also set gaza my views are just my own and the necessary those of the federal trade commission. so at the core the ftc's authority comes from section five of the ftc act and a private unfair and deceptive acts or practices
