oklahoma defensive lineman charles walker will not play in the game. he suffered a concussion on monday's practice, so he will not play in the orange bowl. it is one of the better defensive players for oklahoma, but this ought to be a great game between two explosive offenses, and a pair of defenses that probably don't get eno credit. these teams have both played the disrespect card this week. both of them. they both somehow feel excited. the number one ranked team and number four. the oklahoma sooners are out for revethey remember what happened important when you're ago in the l athletic bowl. a blowout. game and the talk about the the win. clemson does that for every road win against a ranked team, b the sooners have said all week they are out for revenge, and they think being the fourth seed in the playoff makes them the underdog. howvever, las vegas does not see oklahoma as the underdog, and clemson has said this week that even after going 13 and 0, even after being the number one ranked team in the country in every college football playoff ranking

i dealt with a similar situation, i was secretary of state in oklahoma when the oklahoma city bombing. i must say we got tremendous help from our friends in new york and new jersey and other parts of the country, rescue teams. we got wonderful help from the united states government in the aftermath of disaster and recovery. of course the scale of 9/11 it just dwarfs anything that happened in our country. i'm glad on this note that the two parties have sat down, worked together, done the right thing. my friend from new jersey has been a leader in that effort every tep along the way. this is -- step along the way. this is something in the bill even those that don't support the bill, frankly, had we run it individually i believe would have passed on the floor overwhelmingly in a bipartisan fashion. it does come to us in the context of this bill and i hope many of my friends can support the bill for a variety of reasons this. would be one of the chief monks them. frankly, if they cannot, i would recognize again had this come individually i think even those that are opposed would have supp
