there were people who traveled from oklahoma city, des moines and other areas outside siouxland to raise awareness.s. one man came from omaha to be a part of the march. "i feel like people look over this like people look over this a lot," said peter janda, an omaha, nebraska resident. "nats bag pipe" 3 atatetes, 2 coaches, an athletic trainer, and the isu pilot were all killed while returning from a cross country meet in milwaukee. on wednesday, a group of runners and cyclone nation gathered to remember the team. they finished a surprising second in the nc-aa national meet. one victim was athletic trainer stephanie streit who was planning to go to medical school. streit was from hawarden, iowa. her close friend spoke to surviving members
