as i mentioned i started in old city. figured i could get in at fourth and market at that hour of the day a few hours ago it was not ready. i presume that has changed. because i couldn't get in at fourth and market i eventually made my way up to around 12th and market where some secret service members were stationed. balls i had a media credential they were able to wand me, check my bags and wave me through. i got to city hall, saw other secret service. told them i was trying to get to the embassy suites on the parkway. they informed me i crossed into what they called a dirty zone, unswept area so they directed me to the nearest check point which was broad around cherry and race street. once i got to the main check point no problem, was able to get through, tsa was there, secret service was there. without incident, everyone was friendly. i moved right on through, no problem and then continued my walk along the parkway to the embassy suites. something i learned in this experience is that for example, you are starting your
