we know the champion olena shurkhno is expected to win. she's the favorite. we are told she will duke it out with the two russians because all three of them are racing for a spot or their country's olympic team. >> the field of 5,000 in the marathon. jay ritter is the office manager partner of the baltimore office. he would like all 5,000 runners to go in front of them, and throughout the course of the race, for every runner he passes, he will raise $2 for charity. he is the only one in this race that wants to be dead last. he doesn't want to finish dead last, but he wants to start last. >> i liked starting in the back. it made me feel great as i moved forward. all i got was a sense of pride. he's getting $2 for charity for each person that he passes today. a good cause. >> he will doubt plenty of runners today -- he will no doubt pass plenty of runners today. there is a lot of energy. the first 3 1/2 miles are up little. >> at mile three, there is a treat. it is brand new this year. after mile three, they will go in the ravens gate and enter the maryland zoo
