ollie the missing bobcat has been found.ere ollie was finally located. q: we have been on top of the story from the start. ollie disappeared monday morning and now what, 55 hours later she was places, back at the zoo according to the zoo twitter feed. the zoo has a news conference set to start in any minute that we will broadcast live via facebook live. if you want to watch that, check out our sister station newschannel8. they will have it as soon as it is on. when it comes to ollie we are talking about the 7-year-old bobcat who escaped after going through a hole in some mesh around her enclosure. again this happened early monday morning. now since then, zoo officials have done everything they can. to find her. zookeepers, zoo police and the d.c. humane rescue alliance. they were all out and about looking for her. they had no luck until day, which is great news, of course. we will find out how she was captured in the news conference. that is on our sister station newschannel8 as soon as the broadcast begins on facebook live.

megan fitzgerald joins us live from the zoo to tell us how they found ollie. megan? >> zoo officials tell us they believe that ollie followed rock creek, which actually backs up to the zoo here, when they got those tips from people in the community sag avenue, they believe they were probably right. now, they tell us they knew it was probably unlikely they were going to catch her in the wild which is why they are so ecstatic today, or as they call it over the moon as she found her way back. here's what happened. it was around 3:30 this afternoon, when a visitor who was here at the zoo spotted what she thought was a bobcat sitting in the pathway near the bird exhibit. they put out traps with food inside, and moments later, they saw ollie hanging out inside. >> they say she has a scratch on her paw and they're not too worried about her health. >> we're going to take our time making sure the exhibit is secure. it looks secure right now, so what can't we see. how was she able to get through that mess. to escape through has been patched up. for the last several hours, star
